How to announce a new website - website launch page tips & examples
Setting up a professional website for a new business can take time so while it is being developed a launch page is an important marketing tool as it helps create a buzz and establish your online presence.
Once you start promoting your business and potential customers are starting to look for you online, it is important that you have a website or at least a launch page (also known as a coming soon page). There are a few reasons for this:
Provide basic information
Provides ways to connect with you (socials)
Credibility (shows you are ‘real’)
Domain authority
Can start a database.
What to include in an effective launch page:
Your brand: your logo and brand elements /style showcased on the page
Creative Copy: Short and to the point, creating excitement and anticipation for the new brand.
Ways to connect: social media links and your basic contact details
Photos: include one photo if you have it but at this point you might not have product photos so you can use branding only or an image that represents your product. or service.
Register: offer a way to register to your database for website launch
At Webby Web Design we encourage all our customers to set up a launch page, in fact we include this as pet of the project.
