How to set up a lead magnet?
There are a few ways you can set up a lead magnet – in most cases this works alongside your email marketing platform as the goal is collecting a database & the action that your visitor will take is ‘sign up’ which will result on one of these options:
Another option is to set up the resource as a free digital product set up – so customers go through cart and added as customers. Remember to add a condition before downloading that they must sign up to your new letter (and add the tick to subscribe by default).
This is a more secure way of giving away a resource as the digital download is more protected than a welcome email with PDF attachment.
